Andrew William Dales was born August 15, 1861 at Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio to Andrew William Dales and Mary Gawley; the fourth of their ten children. When he was a child, his parents moved west to Iowa.

Andrew married Ruth Hucket (born September 1868 Iowa to William Hucket and Susana Whicker) in 1896.

The couple had a son named Logan F. Dales (born August 15, 1894 Iowa, died June 30, 1902 Iowa).

Andrew William Dales died January 26, 1934 (according to Find a Grave) at Irwin, Shelby, Iowa and is buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Irwin, Shelby, Iowa beside Ruth and Logan.

Andrew William Dales was born August 15, 1861 at Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio to Andrew William Dales and Mary Gawley.

He married Myrtle LaPage (Myrtle born 1869, died September 26, 1894 Shelby, Iowa).
The couple had one son, Logan F Dales (born August 15, 1894 Shelby, Iowa, died June 30, 1902, Irwin, Shelby, Iowa).

Andrew next married Ruth Hucket on February 26, 1896 at Shelby, Iowa. (Ruth born September 24, 1866, died March 10, 1959 Iowa).
They had 3 children:
Oadeth M Dales (born January 26, 1904, died January 31, 1904 both at Irwin, Shelby, Iowa FAG#60826090);
Walter S Dales (born June 5, 1907, died October 31, 1907 both at Irwin, Shelby, Iowa FAG#60826192)) and
Paul Dales (born September 16, 1910, died September 30, 1910 both at Irwin, Shelby, Iowa FAG#60826223).

All are buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Irwin, Shelby, Iowa.
