DALE E. SORENSEN, 88, of Harlan died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Elm Crest Retirement Home in Harlan. Funeral services for DALE SORENSEN will be held Saturday, July 28th at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 27th from 8am-9pm at the funeral home with family greeting friends from 6-8pm.

Burial will be in the Harlan Cemetery

Wife: Ruth Sorensen of Harlan;
Sons: Arlin (Nancy) Sorensen of Harlan, Brad (Sue) Sorensen of Harlan;
Daughters: Brenda (Dennis) Prothero of Neenah, WI. Jolene (Mark) Fincel of Oskaloosa;
Sisters: Ellen Linden of Harlan, Vivian Lytle of Harlan;
Brothers: Myron (Bonnie) Sorensen of Harlan, Lynn (Patricia) Sorensen of West Des Moines, Stanley (Sue) Sorensen of Cincinnati, OH;
10 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for 88 year old Dale E. Sorensen of Harlan will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, July 28th at the First Baptist Church in Harlan. Burial will be in the Harlan Cemetery. Dale Sorensen passed away on Tuesday, July 24th at the Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan. Survivors include his wife Ruth Sorensen of Harlan, 2 sons Arlin (Nancy) Sorensen, Brad (Sue) Sorensen, both of Harlan, 2 daughters Brenda (Dennis) Prothero of Neenha, WI, Jolene (Mark) Fincel of Oskaloosa, IA, 2 sisters Ellen Linden and Vivian Lytle of Harlan 3 brothers Myron (Bonnie) Sorensen of Harlan, Lynn (Patricia) Sorensen of West Des Moines and Stanley (Sue) Sorensen of Cincinnati, OH, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements where a visitation will be held on Friday, July 27th from 8am to 9pm. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8pm.
