ALETHA MAE BRUE, 86, of Harlan, died Sun., May 27th, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan. Funeral services for ALETHA MAE BRUE will be held June 5th at 1-p.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 1-9pm Mon., June 4th, with the family greeting friends from 6-8pm.

Burial will be in the Union Township Cemetery at Defiance.

ALETHA BRUE is survived by:
Her sons – Vernon (Linda) Brue, of Harlan, & Benji (Patty) Brue, of Jackson, MI;
Her daughters – Joleen (Gary) Koch, of New Ulm, MN; Becky (Mark) Reinig, of Skidmore, MO; & Karen (Dale) Wood, of Greenfield, IA;
Her brothers – Harold (Francis) Ahrenholtz, of Wheat Ridge, CO; Howard (Lois) Ahrenholtz, of Manilla, IA; William (Louise) Ahrenholtz, of Defiance, IA; Richard Ahrenholtz, of Norfolk, NE;
Her sister – Betty Lou (Alvin) Armentrout, of Kirkman;
9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services for 86 year old Aletha Mae Brue of Harlan will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, June 5th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Union Township Cemetery in Defiance. Aletha Brue passed away on Sunday, May 27th at Elm Crest Retirement Community in Harlan. Survivors include 2 sons: Vernon (Linda) Brue of Harlan; Benji (Patty) Brue of Jackson, MI; 3 daughters: Joleen (Gary) Kock of New Ulm, MN; Becky (Mark) Reining of Skidmore, MO; and Karen (Dale) Wood of Greenfield, IA; 4 brothers; 1 sister; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements where visitation will be held on Monday, June 4th from 1pm to 9 with family visitation from 6 to 8pm.
