Obituary:
Kevin G. Lustgraaf, son of Marlowe Lustgraaf and Angela Smith, was born February 11, 1958, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Kevin went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2012, after a two-year battle with metastatic skin cancer.

Kevin married Shelly Hoyt in 1980, and the couple was blessed with three children, Aimee, Heather and Jacob.

Kevin graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1976, where he acquired many track awards and still holds a record today. He was co-captain of the wrestling and track teams his senior year. He wrestled for Missouri Valley High School for four years, played football, and was a member of the swim team.

Kevin worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad and Western Electric. After relocating to the Phoenix, Arizona area, Kevin worked for Greyhound Capital and Chromalloy. He also was a real estate agent before becoming a respiratory therapist in 2003.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Marlowe Lustgraaf. Kevin is survived by his three children, Aimee King and husband Hunter, Heather Lustgraaf and Jacob Lustgraaf; his mother Angela Smith and stepfather Glen; his sister Chris Cleaver and husband Will; brother Marlin Lustgraaf and wife Dianne.

Memorials: The family will direct memorials.

Service: Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., at Grace Community Fellowship Church, 300 E. Erie, Missouri Valley, Iowa. A luncheon at the church will follow the service.
