Memorial services for 85 year old Edith Marie Hanes of Oakland, will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 14 at the Oakland United Methodist Church. Edith passed away on Friday, April 6 at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include her son, Terry (Cyndy) Haines of Oakland and daughter, Jeraldyne (Jerry) Perkins of Red Oak. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.

EDITH MARIE HAINES, 85, of Oakland died Friday, April 6th at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Oakland. Memorial Services for EDITH MARIE HAINES will be held Saturday, April 14th at 11:00am at the Oakland United Methodist Church. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of the arrangements.

Edith Marie Haines, the daughter of Floyd Nelson and Sarah Rachael (Hauger) Haines, was born August 23, 1926 at Silver City, IA and died April 6, 2012 at the Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Oakland, IA at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 4 days.

Edith is survived by her son Terry Haines and wife Cyndy of Oakland and daughter Jeraldyne Perkins and husband Jerry of Red Oak.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Oakland United Methodist Church in Oakland. There will be no visitation or viewing held at the funeral home. Rieken Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is in charge of arrangements.
