LYLE POLDBERG, of Carter Lake (formerly of Jacksonville), died Sat., March 26th, at the Omaha Veteran's Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11-a.m. Wed., March 30th, at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary (1010 72nd St.) in Omaha, NE, where visitation is from 6-8pm Tues. (3/29). Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Funeral Services for 82 year old Lyle Poldberg of Carter Lake, formerly of Jacksonville, will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at 11am at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 72nd Street Chapel, Omaha. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha, NE. Lyle passed away on Saturday, March 26. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jeannine Poldberg; children: Warren (Connie) Poldberg of Adel, Brian (Lori) Poldberg of Carter Lake; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert (Rose Anne) Poldberg, 1 sister, Vivian Poldberg; sister-in-law, Myrna Poldberg; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John A Gentleman Mortuaries is in charge of arrangements where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29 from 6 to 8pm.

Lyle Poldberg, age 82, passed away March 26, 2011.

He was born December 26, 1928. Over the years Lyle worked for Valley Oaks Cabinet Company, Pacesetter, Cargill and Ruan Transport.

Lyle is preceded in death by parents; and brother, Dale Poldberg.

Survived by wife of 60 years, Jeannine Poldberg; children and spouses, Warren (Connie) Poldberg, Brian (Lori) Poldberg; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Rose Anne) Poldberg; sister, Vivian Poldberg; sister-in-law, Myrna Poldberg; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation with the family, Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the 72nd Street Chapel.

Funeral Service Wednesday, 11 a.m., also at the 72nd Street Chapel.

Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
