Helen M. Huebner, age 92, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011.

She was born December 23, 1918, in Portsmouth, Iowa, to Jacob and Elizabeth Skalla. She was a member of Holy Family Church.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Albert Huebner.

Survivors include sons, Robert Huebner and wife, Pauline, Ronald Huebner and wife, Susan, all of Council Bluffs; 8 grandchildren; brother, Edwin Skalla, of Harlan, Iowa; sisters, Rose Brummer, of Logan, Iowa, and Sylvia Kleford, of California; nieces and nephews.

Rosary recitation Thursday, 6 p.m., followed by visitation until 8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 a.m., Queen of the Apostles Church. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Portsmouth, Iowa. Masses are preferred for memorials.

Mass of Christian Burial for 92 year old Helen M. Huebner of Council Bluffs will be held on Friday, February 11 at 10am at Queen of Apostels Catholic church in Council Bluffs with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Portsmouth. Survivors include two sons: Robert (Pauline) Huebner and Ronald (Susan) Huebner of Council Bluffs; 8 Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Edwin Skalla of Harlan; 2 sisters: Rose Brummer of Logan; and Sylvia Kleford of CA; sister-in-law Aiola Skalla of Portsmouth and many nieces and nephews. The Cutler-O'Neil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements where visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10 from 6 to 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm.
