DOW CITY, Iowa -- John Brink, 79, of Dow City died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha, Neb.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Dow City. Burial will be in Dow City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Huebner Funeral Home in Denison, Iowa.

John Brink, 79 of Dow City, died Saturday, October 29, at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, at the United Methodist Church in Dow City with burial at the Dow City Cemetery.

The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison is in charge of arrangements where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 1.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Dow City; two daughters, Theresa Case and Janet Jackson, both of Council Bluffs; one son, Steve Brink, of Underwood; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gwen DeMey, of Dow City, and Donna Beerman, of Bennington, Nebraska; and two brothers, Bill Brink and Bob Brink, both of Dow City.
