Graveside memorial services for Richard Krenek, 67, Davenport, will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994 at the Davenport Memorial Park cemetery. The body has been cremated.

Mr. Krenek died Oct. 23 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.

The son of Martin and Stella Kahl Krenek, he was born April 4, 1927 in Davenport. He served in the U.S. Army in 1945 and 1946. He married Betty Bell May 29, 1949 in Rock Island, Ill.

Mr. Krenek was employed as a truck driver for Dohrn Transfer, Rock Island and the national firm of Hall Transit of Davenport for 27 years. He retired in 1984.

He enjoyed auto racing and making models, particularly World War II aircraft and racing cars.

Mr. Krenek is survived by his wife, a daughter, Marcia, (Mrs. Lewis) Schnack, Davenport; a granddaughter, Erin Schnack, Davenport; and his mother, Stella Krenek, Davenport.
