Funeral services for Arthur E. Wiese, 78, Dixon, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 6, 1994 at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport, with burial in Dixon Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Wiese died July 2 at his home. He was a self-employed farmer, operating a Century Farm in the Dixon area until retiring in 1984.

Mr. Wiese was a charter member of Hope Lutheran church, Dixon; director of First Trust and Savings, Wheatland; past president of Wheatland Bancorporation; and a member of the Scott County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by 2 nephews, John Wiese, Tipton and Robert Wiese, Bettendorf; and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
