Funeral services for Clarence Brus, 84, Walcott, were held Jan. 31 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic church in Davenport, with burial in the Davenport Memorial Park.

Mr. Brus died Jan. 28 at Mercy hospital in Davenport from injuries suffered in a Jan. 20 traffic accident in Durant.

He married Elizabeth Westerhof in 1927 in Davenport. She died March 19, 1986.

Mr. Brus was a retired farmer and a board member of Walcott Mutual Insurance Co. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church in Blue Grass, the Scott County Farm Bureau, Walcott Community Club, Senior Citizens and Knights of Columbus 532.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Phyllis) Martz, Blue Grass; 3 grandsons and 2 sisters, Mrs. Harry (Ella) Holst and Mrs. Harold (Florence) Lehms, Davenport.
