Funeral services for Earl Sievers, 67, Dixon, will be held at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport at 1 p.m. today (Nov. 27) with burial in Memorial park cemetery. Mr. Sievers was fatally injured in an accident at his farm near New Liberty Nov. 25.

Born in Scott county July 20, 1918, he was married to Marilyn Burmeister at Kahoka, Mo. June 9, 1938. She died in 1982. He married June Peekenschneider in Nashua March 23, 1985. He farmed in the New Liberty area before his retirement. He was a member of the Scott county Farm Bureau and Davenport Moose lodge #28.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Max (Anna Mae) Robinson, St. Paul, Minn.; LaVonne Babbitt, DeWitt; a son, Galen, Bennett; 9 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. William (Myrtle) Mayerhofer, New Liberty; a brother, Ralph, Davenport; and his mother, Helena Sievers, Davenport. He was also preceded in death by a grandson.
