Funeral services for Nadine Mae Spengler, 52, New Liberty, were held July 27 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic church in Davenport, with the Rev. William Meyer officiating. Pallbearers were Brett Spengler, Brad Bauer, Mark Bauer, Chuck Bauer, Bruce Mordhorst and Lance Mordhorst. Burial was in the Inland cemetery.

Mrs. Spengler died July 24 at Mercy hospital in Davenport.

She was born June 15, 1932 in Iowa City to Merlin and Delpha Woods Bauer. She married Richard Spengler Dec. 17, 1950 in Davenport. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic church and the Davenport Moose.

Mrs. Spengler is survived by her husband, 3 sons, Michael, New Liberty and Craig and Gregory, both of Bennett; a daughter, Mrs. David (Joni) Timmerman, Bennett; 5 grandchildren; her parents of Bennett and 3 brothers, Leroy Bauer, Bennett; Ronald Bauer, Davenport and Gerald Bauer, Wheatland.
