About 8 p.m. Sunday occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Shields at 1426 West Seventh street.

Deceased was born in County Galway, Ireland, seventy-six years ago. She has lived in this state thirty-nine years. The cause of her death was chronic bronchitis with which she has been affected for the past two years.

Mrs. Shields leaves five children, Mrs. Ann Vreeland, Thomas, John, James and Andrew, all of this city, also Mrs. John Cavanaugh, her sister.

Interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery.
