Funeral services for LeRoy H. Hamann, 75, Durant, were held in Runge chapel, Davenport, July 12. Burial was in the Walcott cemetery. Memorials were made to St. Paul's Lutheran church of Davenport and the Durant Community center.

Mr. Hamann died July 8 at the Ridgecrest Health center after a 2 month illness. He had been hospitalized at St. Luke's, Davenport.

The son of Charles and Trina Arp Hamann, he was born in Scott county Aug. 5, 1909. He was married to Alice Ruehmann in Davenport March 12, 1923. They farmed near Walcott until 1961 when they retired and moved to Durant.

He is survived by 2 sons, Delmar L., Brookfield, Wis. and Merle L., Walcott; 4 grandchildren, David, Robert, Paul and Jane Hamann, a sister, Mrs. Ferd (Luella) Feuerbach and a brother, Walter G., Durant.
