Funeral services for Adolph N. Bruhn, 89, New Liberty, were held in Davenport Aug. 26 with burial in the New Liberty cemetery. Mr. Bruhn died at the Americana Care center, Davenport Aug. 24, following a 10-month illness.

He was born in Fehmarn, Germany, July 22, 1886 and came to the United States at 14. He married Agnes Huettmann in Davenport in February, 1915. They farmed in the New Liberty area for many years. He was a former Scott County Farm Bureau member.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hilda Bluedorn, Plainview; 4 sons, George, Durant; Waldo and Harry, New Liberty and Elmer, Durant; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1949.
