Funeral services for Alvin E. Hansen, 64, were held at the Frick Funeral home, Durant, Nov. 11 with burial in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Hansen died at his home near Durant, Nov.8.

The son of Herman and Mary Fisch Hansen, he was born in Scott county Jan. 27, 1910 and was a life resident of the Durant area. He was married to Arleen Lehms Nov. 3, 1946 at Davenport.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Richard, Davenport; his mother, Mrs. John (Mary) Sothmann, Durant and 2 grandchildren.
