Funeral services for William Voss, 84, were held at Durant Aug. 27 with the Rev. Larry G. Willey, pastor of the Wilton Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. Voss died at Cedar Manor in Tipton Aug. 23 after an extended illness.

The son of Johannis and Laura Voss, he was born in Durant Aug. 9, 1889. He was married to Farris Faler in Davenport Jan. 4, 1922. They farmed near New Liberty until retiring in 1947. He had been a resident of Durant for 26 years.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Hugo (Molly) Schnoor and Mrs. Walter (Theresa) Puck, both of Davenport. He was preceded in death by his wife Aug. 17, a brother and a sister.
