Diane "Lynn" Defenbaugh Keller

May 31, 1954-August 13, 2022

DAVENPORT-Diane "Lynn" Defenbaugh Keller, 68, of the Davenport, IA area, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Visitation will be held 2:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 19, at the Runge Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Lynn was born May 31, 1954 to Robert and Billie (Kellogg) Defenbaugh in Davenport, IA. She graduated from West High School in 1972. She found her passion and love for helping people when she became a volunteer EMT in Buffalo, IA. She furthered her education and became a paramedic for Iowa and Johnson county ambulances. After she retired, she became a Red Cross volunteer and used her medical expertise to assist with victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The loves of Lynn's life were her beloved children, Todd, Melissa and Chris. She was a master gardener and had a passion for photography and genealogy. Lynn loved traveling and being by water. She was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Those left honoring her memory include her children, Todd (Candi) Keller, Monroe, IA and Melissa (Michael) Gary, Sully, IA; daughter-in-law, Leah Keller (of the late Christopher); mother, Billie Defenbaugh, Durant, IA; sister, Denise (Henry) Whitaker, NC; twin sister, Diana Kay (Brian) Schlapkohl, Durant, IA; grandchildren: Shamus, Shawn, Shaelynn, Brianna, Jaxon, Daniel, Annika, and William; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert in 2006 and her son, Christopher in 2020.
