Laura A. Scott, 52, of Davenport, Iowa, died Monday, August 15, 2022, at ProMedica Health, Davenport.

Laura Ann Scott was born on June 20, 1970 in New Orleans, LA. She was the Daughter of Wayne Johnson and the late Warnetta Scott. Laura accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age; she was baptized at the Greater St. James Baptist Church in New Orleans , LA. She was educated within the N.O Public School System.

Laura was preceded in death by her Mother the late Warnetta Scott and her Grandmother Margery Scott Laura leaves to cherish her memories ; 10 Children Treniece Scott , Otis Scott, Tiffany Guerrero , Laurice Scott, Caprice Scott , Maurice Scott, Sharice Scott , Dyesha Laws , Dwayne Laws and Destiny Laws. Two brothers Wayne Scott and John Scott one sister Joanice Mcneal and 17 Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, so have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge , Shall give me at that day: and not to me only , but unto all them also love his appearing. 1.1 Timothy 4: 7,8

Laura you lived a good life , you ran your race and you partied it down. We now lay you to rest and release you to go join your late Mother Warnetta Scott. Yet we understand the body is reserved but however your soul lives on.
