Obituary
Ralph B. Brandon, 79, of Davenport, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 5, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the Moline American Legion Post #246 will present military honors. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ralph Bert Brandon was born January 25, 1943, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Harvey Ray and Mary Margaret (Smith) Brandon. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He married Sharon Carlile on April 14, 1990, in Davenport.

He worked at Norcross Safety Products in Rock Island for over 38 years. He later worked at Professional Building Services for 18 years.

He belonged to Cross Point Baptist Church, Davenport, and enjoyed fishing and bowling.

Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Brandon; a daughter, JoAnn Brandon of Davenport; step-children, Sherry (Owen) King of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Marty (Trudy) Lawson of LeClaire, Iowa, Steve (Malika) Lawson of Colona, and Dan (Chastity) Quandt of Davenport; 26 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Carol Trenton of Park View, Iowa, Mary Durbin of Aledo, Illinois, Robert (Karen) Brandon of Aledo, Illinois, Billy Brandon of Aledo, Donald (Rita) Brandon of Aledo, and Harvey Joe Brandon of Moline. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Peggy Sherfey.
