Jeanette E. Hendes Rohwer Keppy, 102, of Eldridge, Iowa passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at The Kahl Home, Davenport.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in The Runge Mortuary Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to her service at 9:00 a.m. Jeanette will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Jeanette was born on December 2, 1919 in Charlotte, Iowa to Art and Florence (Seeser) Hendes. She was united in marriage to Allan Rohwer in 1941 he passed away in 1960, she later married Arnold Keppy in 1975 and he passed away in 1987.

Jeanette was Post Master in Dixon, Iowa for many years, retiring in 1975.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Connie) Rohwer, Fort Myers, Florida; daughter Pat Reese, Eldridge, Iowa; step sons, Ron (Sharalan) Keppy, Bob (Maureen) Keppy, and Steve (Sharon) Keppy; step daughter-in-law, Lois Keppy; Grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Lorenz, Mitch and Matt Lorenz, Mike (Angie) Reese, Peyton and Nolan Reese; numerous step great grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bob Reese, daughter-in-law, Dianne Rohwer, step son, Dr. Ken Keppy, and infant brother, Charles Hendes.
