Harley J. Schultz, 75, of Davenport, Iowa, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at home peacefully surrounded by family and fireworks.

Visitation will take place Saturday, July 9th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline, Illinois. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the visitation at Knights of Columbus, 1111 W 35th Street, Davenport, IA 52806. Memorials may be made to the family. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, and private burial will take place at a later date at Davenport Memorial Park.

Harley James Schultz was born July 31, 1946, in Davenport, the son of Otto and Dorothy (Webb) Schultz. He married Cheryl Pierce on April 1, 1967, in Davenport. He was in the US Army National Guard, and the owner and operator of H Schultz Trucking for over 20 years. After retirement Harley took interest in restoring John Deere tractors.

He enjoyed going to auctions, restoring tractors and cars, fishing, gardening, had a great sense of humor, and above all else enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Harley is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his four children, Troy Schultz, Teri Schultz, Tammy Schultz, and Tonya (Miguel) Sevilla; his grandchildren, Sydney Schultz, Miranda (Victor) Chavez, Nito Sevilla, Isabel Sevilla, Michaela Sevilla, Blue Sevilla, and Tiffany Sevilla; his great-grandchildren, Mateo Chavez, Felicity Chavez, and Santiago Chavez; and his siblings, Dianna Talbott, Susan Schultz, and Michael Schultz. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother.
