Erla Mae Mink, 93, of Moline, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Allure of Moline, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 11am, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be 1pm Friday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A memorial fund has been established.
Erla was born July 14, 1928 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Erle and Leone (Perry) Leonard.
Erla worked for John Deere Davenport Works retiring in 1996. She was previously employed as a letter carrier at Davenport Post Office and at the former Buddy L Toy Factory, East Moline. She was a member of the John Deere Retiree’s and the Red Hat Club. She enjoyed bowling and sewing.
Survivors included daughters, Deborah Lynn Williams, Kingwood, TX, Kathleen (John) Scholer, Maryville, TN; sons, Gary DeFauw, Moline, Daniel DeFauw, Las Vegas, NV, Todd Mink, Moline; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Sean “Craig” Hicks.
