Obituary
Ronita L. Duncan loving mother, grandmother and sister, 75, of East Moline, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 10am Friday, July 8, 2022 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Ronita was born August 31, 1946 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Leo and Norma (Pruett) Johnson. She married Michael W. Williams, Sr. from 1964-1982. She married Glenn Duncan in 1983 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1991.
Ronita worked as a CNA at Guardian Family Care. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline and enjoyed taking care of her family and loved making and giving away peanut brittle.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Teri) Williams, East Moline, Norma (Rick Sabaski) Williams, Moline and Neal (Angela) Williams, Moline; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Christine Ivey, East Moline and brothers, Michael Johnson, Ely, IA, Leo (Rhonda) Johnson, Mahomet, IL and Gary (Debera) Johnson, Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Williams.
Ronita’s family would like to thank the staff at Hope Creek Care Center and Promeica (Heartland) Hospice for their special care the last stage of her life.
