Patricia S. DeClerck 95, of Moline, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Christ the King Church, Moline with visitation from 9:30 -11am at the church. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to Christ the King Church Building Fund or Illinois Elks Crippled Children’s Care Corporation.
Patricia was born April 19, 1927 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Herbert and Cecilia (Neubauer) Smith. She married Frank A. DeClerck June 28, 1947 in Moline. He preceded her on February 8, 2002.
Patricia retired from Labor Union Local 309, Rock Island and prior to that, Teamsters Union Local 371, Rock Island.
Patricia was a member of Christ the King Church, Lady Elks, VFW Auxiliary, Hall of Fame for meritorious service of the Moline-Rock Island Bowling Association, 20 year club of Illinois Women’s Bowing Association and the QC Times Plus 60 Club. She enjoyed volunteering at church activities, Senior Olympics, Special Olympics and the Class of 1944 reunion committee.
Survivors and (Spouses) include her daughter, Mary Ann Rose, Coal Valley; sons, Tom (Vicki) DeClerck, Carbon Cliff, Larry (Raye Ann) DeClerck, Moline; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Billy Rose and John DeClerck, sisters, Charlotte “Mickey” Speitel and Nancy Winter, brothers, Charles and Donald Smith, step-father, Kirk Evans and son-in-law, Bill Rose.
