Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Goettsch, 88, a former resident of Tipton, were held Jan. 5 in Davenport with burial in Pine Hill cemetery there. Mrs. Goettsch died at the Kirkwood nursing home in Davenport Jan. 3.

Mabel Rohse was born in Dixon. She married Edward Goettsch in Tipton, in 1902. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Goettsch is survived by 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Lois Schwartz, Bettendorf; Mrs. Ruth Kinser, Rock Island, and Mrs. Donna Elmergreen, Monmouth, Iowa and 2 great-grandchildren.
