Kenneth L. Baker Sr., 92, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his home. Funeral services are 12 Noon Monday, May 30, 2022 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will follow in Hampton Township Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 AM until service time.

Ken was born on June 22, 1929 in Brookfield, MO, the son of Freddie E. and Lillith I (Utley) Baker. He graduated from Brookfield High School. Kenny married Marilyn “Mitzi” Troxell on November 22, 1949 in Viola. He retired from the former International Harvester Works, East Moline in 1978. Kenny and Mitzi enjoyed boating and wintering in Florida.

Survivors include his wife Mitzi, son Kenneth (Mary) Baker Jr., Milan, grandchildren; Paula (Joe) Tate, Milan, Tammy Gorham, Reynolds, Angie (Joe) Edmondson, Orion, Nathan Gorham, Illinois City, Jacob Gorham, Reynolds, Owen Gorham, Reynolds, Kyle Edmondson, Orion and Alex Edmondson, Orion and his brother Jim Baker, Rock Island.
