Tina Marlene Young Sundberg, age 59, of Davenport, IA, passed away on May 17th, 2022 after a long battle with renal failure. Tina was born on March 7, 1963, to Richard and Jeanita Young in Hollywood, CA.

Tina was a Certified Nurse Aid for most of her adult life. She enjoyed taking care of others, and was sad when her health no longer allowed her to continue.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexis McCain Shauman and her partner, Kacey Woodruff, of Davenport; her father and bonus mother, Richard and Marilyn Young of El Cajon, CA; her sister, Melody Young and her fiancé, Gary Kaasa, of Davenport; her favorite cousin, Marcie (Everett) McCain; her brother and his wife, Jon and Joy Vaughn of Terrell, TX; granddaughter, Skyla Engle of Davenport; great-grandson, Quantavius Reaves, of Rock Island; nephews Jacob Young and Bradley Loveridge; niece Caitlin (Isaac) Lewis; great nephew’s Finnegan and Quinn; great nieces Vivienne and Aida; Alexis’s siblings Jeff and Sadie Shauman; her favorite nurse, Tammy (Genesis Hospice) and her best friend and constant companion, her dog Chance.

Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanita, brother Patrick, daughter Jerrie, and Jerrie’s father, Randy Bruce.

There will be no service at this time. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
