Rose Marie Viscioni-Wessell, 84, of Moline passed away April 4, 2022 at her home in Monticello, FL with family by her side.

Funeral services will be 1pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Rose was born July 29, 1937 the daughter of Bert and Madeline Viscioni. She married Dennis Anton in 1954. He passed away in 1974. Together they had 6 children. Rose later married John Wessell August 1, 1976 n Moline, IL. They were together until his passing in 2011. Rose retired from Aramark after several years and moved to Florida for 10 years. She was an active member of Hibernia Baptist Church. Rose enjoyed singing, bowling, sewing, crocheting, and loved being around her entire family laughing and playing cards, especially her favorite game Phase 10. Rose moved back to Illinois and became a member of Green Rock Freewill Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for 20 years. She most recently attended Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island.

Her surviving loved ones, who will cherish her memories are sons Dennis (Denise) Anton of Colona, Albert (Christine) Anton of Silvis, Leonard (Sheila) Anton of Carbon Cliff; daughters Cindy Dean of Moline, Mary (Tom) Bass of Florida, and Elizabeth “Betsy” (Dave) Ferry of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and sisters Frances Doxsee of Silvis and Joyce Bower of Lincoln, NE.
