Funeral services were held April 22 at the Runge Chapel, Davenport for Mrs. Augusta LaFrenz, 88, New Liberty, who died April 19 at the Colonial Manor Nursing home, Davenport. Burial was in the New Liberty cemetery.

The former Augusta Petersen was born in Germany. She was married to John LaFrenz in 1905. He died in 1964.

She is survived by a son, Clarence, New Liberty and sisters, Helen Adrian and Hildegard Petersen, both of Davenport.
