Katee Lauren Coder, 40, of Silvis, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at home.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Burial will follow at at Moline Memorial Park. An additional gathering to celebrate Katee’s life will be announced in the near future.

Katee was born to Tad and Sheri (Bentley) Coder and grew up in Hampton, Illinois. She graduated from United Township High School and then went on to get a bachelor’s degree in IT.

She accomplished many things in her short 40 years but her biggest accomplishment and love of her life was her son, Maxwell Correa whom she shared with Seth Correa, Cleveland, Illinois.

Katee’s fiancée, Jasen Rogers, was her best friend and her partner in adventures. Katee’s smile and loud laughter could light up a room. She had a heart that was bigger than life. Katee Coder was hilarious, kind, raucous, loving, adventurous, and a bit naughty. But that is why she was loved by all who met her.

Katee was punk rock music, hoodies, sparkly combat boots, Starbuck’s, Converse Chucks, and Tokidoki.

She is survived by her son, Maxwell Correa, her fiancée, Jasen Rogers, Orion, IL, her parents Tad Coder, Hampton, Illinois, and Sheri (Jack) Peacock, Bettendorf, Iowa, her brother Jack Coder, Moline, sister, Merry Coder and brother-in-law, Kane Keller, Bakersfield, California, grandparents, Russell “Jug” (Darla) Bentley, Colona, Illinois, Beverly McNeal Coder, Hampton, Illinois, and Betty Haytcher, East Moline, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jack Coder and many beloved great-grandparents. Katee has countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her best friend, Anna Abney, Silvis, IL, who will miss her greatly as well as her fiancée’s children, Jackson and Julia.
