July 30, 1955-April 27, 2022

BUFFALO-Danny J. Lytle, 66, of Buffalo, Iowa; passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral services to honor his memory will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 2pm at Weerts Funeral Home; visitation will be from 12pm until time of service. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park.

Danny was born on July 30, 1955 in Oakland City, Indiana to Russell and Mildred Lytle. He worked at Nestle Purina for many years until his retirement in 2011. In his free time he could often be found hanging out with his friends at the Beach Pub in Buffalo. Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Those left to honor his memory are his brother Robert (Sherry) Lytle; sister-in-law Linda Lytle; step-siblings: Cathy (Randy) Stowe, Ed (Jill) Sexton, Ann McKinley, David Sexton, and John (Kim) Sexton; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Michael) Price, Amanda (Chad) Caudill, Anna (Brandon) Hyle, Austin Dooley, Rusty (Julie) Lytle, Kevin (Nicole) Lytle, and Kourtney Lytle; many great-nieces and great-nephews; uncle Jack (Andrea) Drury; and his best friends Max Pittman and Rusty Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Mildred; his step-father Lawrence Sexton; brother Russell Lytle; sisters Carol and Debbie Lytle; step-sister Dawn Sexton; and step-brother Joe Sexton.
