Bonnie Sue Simatovich, 73, of Davenport, formerly of Walcott, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Genesis East in Davenport. Per her request, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of her life is being planned in the near future at Calvary Methodist Church in Walcott. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Bonnie was born September 9, 1948 in Rockford, IL; the daughter of William and Marcella (Hettesheimer) Stone. She worked as a CNA for Genesis West Hospital for several years. She married Michael M. Simatovich on May 23, 1970 in Rockford, IL. He passed away on March 29, 2000. Bonnie loved to dance and travel, having visited Egypt, but, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and her beloved granddog, Pluto. She lived life to the fullest and loved having a good meal and conversation with her many friends. With her husband, Bonnie had been an active member of Calvary Methodist Church in Walcott. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Heather (David) Newton and their children, Kirstie and Jordan, Davenport. Her parents preceded her in death.
