Adeline B. Zmuda, 94, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Park Vista, East Moline.
A Funeral Mass will be 10am Friday, February 18, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Church.
Adeline was born February 1, 1928 in Alta Vista Township, MN, the daughter of Mike and Elizabeth (Dritz) Swedzinski. She married Edward J. Zmuda on February 18, 1947 at the former Holy Trinity Church, Moline. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2013.
Adeline had worked at Jewel, Moline and former Franciscan Hospital in Rock Island.
Adeline was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline and the National Catholic Society of Foresters Sacred Heart Court 956. She was active in 4-H, her bible study fellowship and spent many years volunteering at U.P., Rock Island and Moline. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and most of all, she adored her family.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Lynn) Zmuda, FL, Mary (Paul) Carbone, Cranberry Township, PA, Mindy (John) King, East Moline, Betsy (Greg) Swanson, Moline, Jayne Hanson, Fishers, IN and Ron (Dawn) Zmuda, Goshen, IN; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and brother, Don (Millie) Swedzinski, MN.
