Noe Cantu, 57, East Moline, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.

Noe was born on January 23, 1964 in Moline, the son of Juvencio F. and Margarita (Correa) Cantu. He graduated from UTHS class of 1982. He married Estela Montes Pacheco on January 28, 2006. Noe worked at Sun-Rys Distributing and Frank's Pizza. He enjoyed watching western's and old movies. He liked listening to Rock and Roll music, with Elvis Presley and Pat Benatar being his favorites. Noe was an all around good guy who was handy and always tried to help others.

Surviviors include his wife, Estela, siblings, Marta (Bill) Staranowicz, Pleasant Prairie, WI, Jaime (Frances) Cantu, East Moline, Berta Velasquez, East Moline, Norma Cantu, East Moline and Flora Cantu, Hampton and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Pedro Cantu and his beloved pets, Sunshine and Friend.
