Ruben Reyes-Gutierrez, 60, of Rock Island, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at home. Per the families wishes, there will be no services. Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., are handling the arrangements.

Ruben was born April 22, 1961, in Rio Bravo, Tamps, Mexico, the son of Ruben Reyes and Maria (De La Luz) Gutierrez. He was employed at various companies as a truck driver.

Survivors include his children, Ruben Reyes Briones, Maricarmon Reyes Briones; siblings, Irene Valdez, Maria Theresa Reyes, Martha Reyna, Sanjuana Salinas, Ana Maria Reyes, Janeth Gomez, Jorge Reyes, David Reyes, Rafael Reyes; 4 grandchildren, and his significant other, Dora Reyna.

Ruben was preceded in death by his father.
