Mr. Wiese was born on the family farm near Donahue, Iowa, September 7, 1932, to Elmer and Leah (Hesse) Wiese. He was the oldest of six children. Dale farmed with his father until 1952 when he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

After retiring, Dale was an insurance agent and truck driver. He loved wood working, Hereford cattle, and model railroading, but mostly, he loved his family. He belonged to the American Legion, The Retired Enlisted Association, and was a lifelong member of the Handyman Club of America.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; parents and in-laws; daughter-in-law, Tonya Wiese; sister, Carole Stuhr; brother, Eldon Wiese; and brother-in-law, Joe Corken.
