Joseph V. Crisci, 90, of Davenport, died Friday, October 29, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme surrounded by family. Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Joseph Vincent Crisci was born on February 6, 1931 in Davneport, a son of Archangelo “John” and Theresa (Stompanato) Crisci. He graduated from St. Ambrose Academy in 1949 and proudly served in the Naval Reserves from 1950 -1954. Joe was united in marriage to Dina Lee Ogden on August 23, 1952 at Holy Family Catholic Church. They have shared over 69 years of marriage and memories together.

Joe retired from the Milwaukee Railroad in 1986 after 36 ˝ years of service as a clerk and storekeeper.

Joe enjoyed camping with his family and collecting Lionel model trains. He was a skilled craftsman and expert working with wood. He operated Joe’s Toy Shack for many years. Joe began playing the accordion at 13 years of age and attempted to play until most recently.

Survivors include his wife, Dina, children: Linda (Lindy) Daily, Mike (Deb) Crisci, Rick (Tammy) Crisci, and Connie (Jeff Schmidt) Crisci, all of Davenport; 5 grandchildren: Dominick (Jacklyn) Crisci, Trisha (Chris) Clark, Joey Crisci, Kelly Lovell, and Kayla DeLay; 9 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Hailey, Ryan, Paige, Hannah Jo, Tyler Crisci, Makhia Hull, Darnell Quinn, Jr., and Kaylynn Damp, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Mary Cooksey, Rose Flaherty, and Vincent Crisci. May they rest in peace.
