Dennis D. Duncan, 74, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines, IA.

Dennis was born March 9, 1947, in Lineville, IA, the son of Dale Duncan and Vada Lorraine Duncan (Edgman). He served in the Vietnam War 101st Airborne Screaming Eagle and was awarded a Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal. He worked for Sivyer Steel and the United States Postal Service from which he retired in 2012.

Dennis loved to watch the Hawkeyes, Chiefs, and the Cardinals and any western. He enjoyed fishing and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph and Joshua Duncan; daughter, Tasha Schultz; grandchildren, Alana, Haylee and Dylan; and his siblings, Patricia Duncan, Barbra Duncan and James Duncan

He was preceded in death by his parents.
