DAVENPORT – Services for Virginia ‘Ginny’ Beilstein, 85, of 2226 Gaines St., will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Chapel, St. Ambrose University, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Beilstein died Sunday at Davenport Medical Center.
Virginia Green married Jack Beilstein in 1942 in Hobbs, N.M.
She was a member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. She bowled for 20 years and was currently serving as sergeant of arms for her bowling league.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diane Beilstein, Davenport; a son, Pete, Ankeny, Iowa; six grandchildren; a sister, Carol (Mrs. William) Bishop; and a brother, Don Green, both of Davenport.
