Donald "Don" Wolfram

June 26, 1951-August 9, 2021

DAVENPORT-Donald "Don" Wolfram, 70, of Davenport passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at his home after a 9 year battle with leukemia (AML).

Visitation will be 2-5pm Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. The funeral service will be held at 5:00pm following the visitation on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or to your favorite food pantry. On line condolences can be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Don was born June 26, 1951 in Davenport, IA to Richard & Henrietta (Bracker) Wolfram. He retired in 2007 after 35 years with the Rock Island Arsenal Army Chemical Research, Development Engineering Command. Don was an avid softball player playing into his 60's. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, video poker, and traveling. His passion for golf was strong still playing right to the end. Don was respected by friends and family who often turned to him for advice and guidance.

Survivors include his Better Half Sherry Pennington; sisters Joanne Nettleton and Carol (Warren) Secoy; Brothers Jim (Carolyn) Wolfram, Bob (Carol Griffin) Wolfram, & John (Tammy) Wolfram; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law Jerry Nettleton.
