DAVENPORT-Nicole C. Goettsch Wold, 48, of Davenport, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. There will be a celebration of her life at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Nicole was born March 11, 1973, to Jeffrey Goettsch and Deana (Davis) Wagner in Davenport, IA. She was a graduate of Bettendorf High School. She was united in marriage to Jason Wold.

Nicole enjoyed spending time at the Carol Center with her friends and spending quality time with her family.

Those missing her deeply are her husband, Jason Wold; mother and step father, Deana (Jim) Wagner; father, Jeffrey Goettsch; children, Noah Musal and Madison Wuorinen; granddaughter, Salem; sister, Courtney (Amer) Brankovic; nephew, Nile; along with two step sisters.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dean and De Davis; paternal grandparents, Howard and Dorothy Goettsch; and step mother, Jana Goettsch.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Trinity Hospice staff.

God looked around his garden that day and found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful. He always takes the best,

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.

He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "peace be thine".

It broke my heart to lose you but you did not go alone

for a part of me went with you the day God called you home.
