LECLAIRE-Wayne Holst, 81, of LeClaire, Iowa died Monday, August 9, 2021 from COVID19 pneumonia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Runge Mortuary, with visitation two hours prior. The service will be Livestreamed on the Runge Mortuary Facebook Page. In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to please make a memorial to their favorite charity in Wayne's name. Online condolences maybe expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Wayne was born on April 16, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa to Herbert and Edna Holst. He farmed all his life and drove a dump truck for 40 years. Wayne was passionate about dancing and traveling. He was also the "fun uncle."

Wayne is survived by his devoted partner of 40 years, Mary Ann Robinson, and brothers, Harlan (Valerie), and Robert; and was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie.
