October 18, 1930-August 7, 2021

DAVENPORT-Robert E. Voss, 90, of Davenport, IA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Bob was born on October 18, 1930, to Edward and Geraldine (Alger) Voss in Davenport, IA. On February 16, 1952, he married the love of his life, Sharon Hasley. Bob was an outstanding salesman who was beloved by his customers. He retired in 2015, at the age of 85.

Bob enjoyed playing golf, traveling, sports, and watching Wheel of Fortune.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 69 years, Sharon Voss; daughter, Susan (Allan) Young; son, Ed (Kim) Voss; and grandchildren, Emily and Michael Young.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Patricia.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Evan and the staff at Portillo's, the caring staff at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice, and his wonderful neighbors for all of their help and support.
