A funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Ripperger, 84, of Eldridge, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation was Friday, July 30, from 4-7 p.m. at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, where a Rosary was recited at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Ripperger died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Manor Care – Utica Ridge, Davenport.

Mary Ann Crall was born Aug. 10, 1936, in rural Weller, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph C. and Mary A. (Hutta) Crall.

She married Michael E. Ripperger on June 2, 1956, at St. Mary’s Church, Weller.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeana Larvenz (Don Van Wychen), Moline; a son, Michael Ripperger, Anamosa; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sheila (Richard) Sager, Lovilia; and a brother, James (Linda) Crall, Newton.
