Justa was born on October 18, 1962 in Oaxaca, Mexico to Juan and Maria (Garcia) Mijangos. She was united in marriage to Gustavo Villalpando. Justa was a devoted member of St. Anthony's Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She loved reading, singing and dancing and had a huge passion for gardening. And she loved dogs even though she rarely admitted it. She would light up the room and made everyone she met feel remembered and thought of. She loved people. Despite her own struggles, she would always find ways to help those in need. Justa also never gave up. Any problem she had, she would look it in the eye and go for it and try to get through it. If she needed help, she would pray to God for guidance. Justa will be remembered and missed for her humble, kind, strong, and sweet nature.

In her later years, we found out how much stronger she really was. Being on dialysis for 11 years, made us look up to her so much more. After her passing, most of us have agreed that we couldn't have gone through everything, not even half of the things, she endured during those last 11 years.

She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, friend, and Best Friend to most of us who knew her.

She really did touch many people's lives with her smile, laugh, and good heartwarming talks. She was one of those who listened with her heart and gave advice to the best of her knowledge.

We won't say we are happy she passed, because we are not. But we will say that we are happy that she is now resting and in a better place. Justa will truly be missed forever. We will never forget her and we will always hold her memory close to our hearts.

"We all love you, but please don't watch over us!! You already took care of us, watched us grow, and watched us become adults. We are gonna be ok! Yeah, we're a little crazy and a little hard-headed sometimes, but this is your time to rest. Don't let us stop you from resting. You deserve to rest in peace. So, please rest, ok? We love you Mom!" -Your Kids.

Your Soul is now with God.

Survivors include her husband, Gustavo; children, Zulma Villalpando, Sonia Villalpando, Erick Villalpando, and Gustavo Adolfo Villalpando all of Davenport; three grandchildren, Juan Daniel, Ricky and Romeo and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Juvenal and one sister, Adelfa.
