Virginia L. Dvorak, 94, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Silvercrest Garner Farms. Per her request there will be no services and cremation rites have been accorded. She will be inurned at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials in Virginia’s memory can be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.

Virginia was born on February 28, 1927 to William and Emma Cairns in Centerville, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Norman E. Dvorak on June 22, 1957. Virginia and Norm loved to travel and going camping with family. She loved to go to local garage sales and to the casino where she was doted on by all of the waiters and waitresses. Virginia was described as a domestic goddess and could turn any home into a royal palace for all who lived there. One of her favorite companions at Silvercrest Garner Farms was her cat, Bubba Lou.

Virginia is survived by her husband of 65 years, Norm; her children Lynn Vaughan, Diane Scott, and Norman (Deb) Dvorak; and two grandchildren Johnny Scott and Josh (Nina) Dvorak. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at Silvercrest Garner Farms for all of their love and support; remember Grandma loves you. She had a very special place in her heart for all of her nieces and nephews.
