October 20, 1931-May 24, 2021

DAVENPORT-Funeral Services for Patricia M. "Patty" Dau, 89, of Davenport, will be 6pm Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown, Davenport. Interment will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Arsenal. Her family will greet friends from 4pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to King's Harvest No-Kill Animal Shelter or the Shriner's Hospital. Patricia passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at her home.

Patricia Mary Robnett was born October 20, 1931 in Albia, Iowa, a daughter of David L. and Barbara (Martin) Robnett. She was a graduate of Davenport High School. Patty married Warren L. Dau July 26, 1952. They celebrated 45 years of marriage. He preceded her in death August 31, 1997.

Patty worked for Northwestern Bell and Davenport School System. She was very active in her community. She was a member of CASI, Golden Tones and Play Group and was a 25-year member of the PTA and Turner's Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of USBC, WIBC and was a Hall of Fame member. She met her husband Warren at a bowling alley! Patty loved watching the Cubs, going to bingo or the casino, sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and listening to any music you can sing or dance to.

Those left to honor Patty's memory include her children: Mark (Cheryl) Dau, Grannis, Arkansas, David (Lynn) Dau, Diane (David) Burke, Susan Reando, and Jennifer (Kurt) Clark, all of Davenport; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Bill Robnett; sister-in-law, Jane Robnett; brother-in-law: George Rietzel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren, son, John Dau, son-in-law, Steve Reando, and siblings: Kay Akers, Carole Rietzel and David Robnett.
