Fred A. Engel, 15-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Engel, of Donahue and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Engel, Lowden, died Sept. 8 in a doctor's office in Davenport.

Death was caused by pneumonia, according to Dr. R. M. Perkins, Scott county medical examiner.

The child was born in Davenport.

In addition to the parents and grandparents, survivors include 4 sisters, Marria, Cindy, Pamala and Pearl; 2 brothers, William K. and Robert Jr., all at home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hoskins and maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Archie Kenyon, all of LeClaire.

Funeral services were Sept. 10 in the Faith Lutheran church, Eldridge, with burial in Davenport Memorial park.
